Two-time Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint winner and Eclipse Award Champion Goodnight Olive co-topped last night’s Fasig-Tipton November Sale, hammering for $6 million to John Stewart. The 5yo daughter was purchased for $170,000 as a yearling in 2019, Goodnight Olive was consigned on behalf of First Row Partners and Team Hanley.
Additionally, Klaravich Stables’ G1W Seach Results sold for $3.6 million to Northern Farm’s Katsumi Yoshida. The G1 Acorn winner and narrow G1 Kentucky Oaks 2nd place finisher banked nearly $2 million over the course of her 17 race career.
Bobby Flay’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner Pizza Bianca also crossed the $3 million mark, selling for exactly $3 million to owner John Stewart while carrying a foal by top sire Into Mischief.
Klaravich Stables’ Strong Incentive, the dam of GSWs Highly Motivated and Surge Capacity, in addition to TDN Rising Star Ways and Means, who sold for $2.15 million to Alpha Delta Stables while carrying a foal by Good Magic.
Finally, Michael Dubb, Madaket Stables, Robert LaPenta and Mike Caruso’s G1W Shantisara sold for $1.3 million to Shadai Farm.
In all, Elite sold 12 of 13 offerings for a gross of $18.5 million and an average $1,541,667.
