Elite Sales sold 12 of its 13 offerings at Fasig-Tipton’s Night of the Stars on the night after the Breeders’ Cup, headlined by G1W and 8-time GSW GOING GLOBAL (IRE), who hammered for $2.5 million to BBA Ireland on behalf of Yulong Investments. She was campaigned by CYBT, Michael Dubb, Ray Pagano, Saul Gevertz and Michael Nentwig.
Also selling for 7-figures was Frank Fletcher and Ten Strike Racing’s G3W/G2P LADY ROCKET, who sold for $1,050,000 to GMP Stables and WinStar Farm.
For the first time in its history, Elite Sales offered weanlings, selling a GUN RUNNER filly out of TEMPTRESS for $675,000 to AAA Thoroughbreds, making her the second most expensive weanling sold at this venue this year.
