ELiTE Sales had a banner day during Keeneland September Book 4 selling 9 out of 9 horses offered.
The day was highlighted by Hip 2714 Good Magic – What’s News who sold for $310,000 to Red Wings. The filly bred by John Ropes was the fourth highest sold horse in the session.
Also selling in the same session was John Ropes’ Hip 2393 Nyquist – Dance with Doves who fetched $160,000.
The average price for the 9 horses sold was $87,889, well above the session average.
