Five Millionaires, One Elite Night

Elite’s all star lineup for Fasig-Tipton’s Night of the Stars more than lived up to its billing, where five millionaires were sold, including Monomoy Girl who went for $9,500,000, a record for a Racing/Broodmare Prospect.

Coming into the sale off her second win in the G1 Breeders’ Cup Distaff, Monomoy Girl entered the sale as the lead act for owners Michael Dubb, Monomoy Stables, The Elkstone Group and Bethlehem Stables, and as she always does on the track, she delivered, hammering to Spendthrift Farm who will keep her in training.
